About Paris ISD
Paris Independent School District is an award-winning school serving over 3,000 students in Paris, Texas.
The Project
As a community-driven company, we are passionate about the education and growth of our future leaders. In 2022, we were approached by Paris ISD to create a district-wide video showcasing the quality of education, community, and opportunities provided by the district. We’re big fans of anything that that highlights the positive things happening in our community, and with that, it was an easy YES from us!
This year-long project grew into much more than just a video. We began filming during the district convocation meeting prior to the first day of class and continued throughout the year, capturing heartfelt and positive stories along the way.
The Process
Our team began pre-production with scripting out the overall video for the district. The theme of the film was “Born for This”, and we wanted to capture elements from each campus and all walks of life. The diverse community at Paris ISD is one of their biggest strengths and we knew it was crucial to highlight the various groups of people, interest, activities and offerings at Paris ISD.
Each smaller story was turned into its own video, and segments of each of those were used in the overall district video.
Taking this approach is where we believe clients make the most of their investment.
We were able to produce videos highlighting legendary educators, servant-hearted transportation employees, students excelling in their extra-curricular activities, sports, and more.
The Product
The district video included elements that are dear to our heart.
We worked with award-winning musician Cas Haley to produce a cinematic soundtrack for the video based on the school song. The buildup led into the video’s finale, where the school song came to life as graduates threw their caps.
There are elements of laughter, school-pride, tears, and accomplishment all while highlighting that Paris ISD doens’t just prepare you for college… they prepare you for life.
