Specializing in live events, weddings, corporate functions and balloon installments, they are the regions premium party planning and event service provider.

The Project

DeadCat has had the privilege of working with Kacy Smyers and her team at PPR since 2020 through a variety of events in Northeast Texas. Anytime you combine forces with the PPR team, you are destined for a successful event.

Over the years, we have worked on projects such as Girls Night Out, Paris Steak Wars, Snowflakes and Diamonds Gala, Paris Pregnancy Center Gala (Heartbeat of Paris), the Slade Baker Memorial Crawfish Cook-off, corporate ribbon cuttings and private events.

Kacy approached our team with the desire to rebrand Paris Party & Event Rentals with a more corporate, modern and minimalistic approach. As her business was expanding and growing, she felt the need to widen the opportunities of marketing her business with a newly refreshed brand.

She trusted our team with creative freedom and the brainstorming began.

The Process

The company is often referred to as PPR and we knew right away that we wanted to incorporate that as a staple part of the brand. First, we began with selecting a color pallet that would introduce a corporate and professional tone to the brand. We chose five colors including: Black Tie, Champagne, Rosé, Pool Party and Purple Paradise.

The Colors

Black Tie and Champagne serve as the primary colors. This take on a monochromatic feel keeps the brand anchored, while the secondary colors allow freedom to bring in some life and personality.

The Markings

Markings and icons are crucial to establishing and establishing the brand beyond the logo. We included four icons that represent the four core offerings of PPR.
