When your video project is complete, we deliver the final files fast, securely, and in full resolution using Dropbox. Whether you’re a first-time client or a seasoned pro, understanding how to use Dropbox to download and share your videos makes the process smoother for everyone.
This guide will walk you through how to access your professional video files, provide feedback, and safely share your content on social media the right way.
Why We Deliver Final Videos via Dropbox
Dropbox is a cloud-based file storage and delivery platform trusted by creative professionals worldwide. We use it to send finished videos because it’s:
- Fast and reliable for large video files
- Compatible with desktops, tablets, and mobile devices
- Simple to use — no account needed, just click the link
- Secure — your video isn’t publicly posted unless you share it
Dropbox ensures you get the highest quality version of your final video without compression or weird artifacts.
What to Expect in Your Dropbox Delivery
When your video is ready, we’ll send you an email with a Dropbox link. This link gives you access to a shared folder that may include:
- Multiple versions of your video (e.g. full-length, square crop, vertical Reels/TikTok format)
- Preview images or video thumbnails
- Supporting graphics, still photos, or captions
- A read-me note with basic instructions or tips for posting
All files are organized and labeled to keep things simple.
How to Download Your Video from Dropbox
Here’s how to use the Dropbox link:
- Click the link in your delivery email
- View your video(s) directly in your web browser
- Click the “Download” button next to individual files or download the entire folder as a .ZIP

Pro Tip:
You do not need a Dropbox account to access your video. Just click the link — it works on any device.
How to Request Edits or Revisions
Every video package we deliver includes 2 rounds of small edits, free of charge. That means:
- You watch the video
- Send your feedback by replying to the same email you received the Dropbox link from
- Be clear and specific — timestamps and bullet points are extremely helpful
- We make your revisions and send you an updated version
- You get one more opportunity to request final tweaks
After that, any additional revisions are billed at our standard hourly rate.
What counts as a small edit?
Things like swapping clips, trimming a few seconds, adjusting text, or fixing a transition. Major overhauls (like re-editing entire scenes or changing music) may fall outside that scope — but we’ll always let you know before any extra charges apply.
Do Not Post the Dropbox Link Publicly — Download First
We can’t stress this enough:
Please do not share the Dropbox link directly on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or any other social media platform.
Why?
- It’s not a hosting service — Dropbox is designed for file delivery, not public playback
- Viewers may see a raw, unpolished interface
- It can create access issues, especially on mobile
- You lose control over how your brand or content appears
Here’s what to do instead:
- Download the video to your phone or computer (computer is preferred)
- Upload it directly to your platform of choice (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Write your caption, add hashtags, and hit post
This gives your video the best possible playback quality, resolution, and presentation — all under your control.
Best Practices for Managing Your Video Files
- Save the Dropbox email in case you need to redownload later (we store this for up to 12 months)
- Back up your video on your own hard drive or cloud service — Dropbox is not long-term storage
- Label downloaded files clearly if you plan to reuse them for other content (like reels, ads, or stories)
- If you have multiple team members, share the video file directly — not the Dropbox link
Want us to cut a short teaser or add a logo to your video? Just ask.
